Dr. Lawrence Carter Forensic Pathologist Lawrence is a quiet, unassuming man with a keen, analytical mind. He deals better with abstract concepts than with people. A forensic pathologist for 15 years, he has had hard, bitter experiance with the sheer amount of Awfulness that happens in New York. Jaded, he retreats to his job, logging in more hours than healthy. In the last few years he's noticed some alarming patterns amongs the crimes he investigates. He has no idea what this pattern is-it's a vague feeling at best. All he knows is, Something is Wrong with New York.(I love that quote) He can't pull back, though. He's too curious. The Brain-Scooper is not the worst case he's seen, but it is one of the worst.. As chief forensic investigator for the case, Carter is involved in all levels of the investigation.
