Jacob Breen grew up in Newark, NJ. He was something of a loser as a youth. In high school he brought in respectable "B"s and participated in two extracurricular activities: The Chess Club and The Camera Club.
After graduation, Breen considered college, but decided against it when his Uncle Vincent, a divorce lawyer, hired him to do some snoop photography. The payoff was a brand new top of the line Nikon camera.
Jacob found he liked investigations work, and instead of college signed up for a course for private investigators. He worked for a major firm for eight years, and then went into business for himself three years ago. His one-man agency is called "Honest Investigations Inc." His Aunt Ethel works the phone on a part-time basis.
